What is Meal-Morial Madness?
In 2020 a group of friends came together to play video games and raise money for charity during a 12-hour marathon stream. In our first year, we raised $3,130 for the Mid-Ohio Food Collective.
In 2021 we expanded the stream to a full 24-hours, and we raised $6,012 for Feeding America.
In 2022 we yet again expanded the stream to 36-hours, and we raised $10,735 for Feeding America.
In 2023 we raised $9,740.00 for Feeding America.
We were even featured by our local news station NBC4 in 2021
This year we’re back and bigger than ever with Meal-Morial Madness 2024. During our 36-hour gaming marathon, we’ll feature a huge variety of games, from retro arcade games to the latest releases. Join us this Memorial Day weekend by watching on Twitch, playing along in some group games, and donating to Feeding America.
What’s the goal?
We want to break our records for 2024 and we can’t do that without your help. Our goal this year is to raise $15,000
Feeding America is the nation’s largest hunger relief organization, supporting a large network of food banks and pantries, including our local Mid-Ohio Food Collective. Just $1 can help provide at least 10 meals to kids, families and individuals facing hunger. That means no amount is too small to help make a real difference.
