Last year on a whim Brian suggested we play Nidhogg and boy howdy it was fun and entertaining for all. So we’ve decided to bring it back again this year.
For those unaware, Nidhogg is a 2D fencing platformer. I think that pretty much says it all. I think you’ll enjoy watching the hectic pace of this one.

It caught my attention for two reasons: shitty graphics and swords
I’m a sucker for the basic, retro and even crappy graphics of Nidhogg. Those are the games have proven to me to be gems because the focus isn’t on the spectacle for HD graphics but on the fun…the game. I’m not very good at Nidhogg but it’s a ton of fun. It’s one of the few modern arcade-style games that really makes 1-on-1 gameplay a lot of fun with a lot satisfaction.
